Conference Theme: Contemporary Insights on Crime Trends & Patterns: The Impact of Criminology
The Asian Criminological Society invites scholars, academics, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from Asia and across the globe to submit abstracts for the 17th Asian Criminological Society Conference. This conference seeks to provide a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and professional experiences related to contemporary crime trends, patterns, and the evolving role of criminology in understanding and responding to them.
As crime becomes increasingly complex and transnational in nature, shaped by technological advances, economic shifts, social transformations,and globalization, criminology must continue to evolve.
This conference aims to explore how contemporary criminological insights can inform policy, strengthen justice institutions, and enhance crime prevention and community safety.

Special Bahasa Malaysia Session
A special session conducted in Bahasa Malaysia will be organized as part of the conference to encourage wider participation from Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia-speaking scholars and practitioners. Participants who wish to present in this session are required to:

Abstracts must be written in English.
Each abstract should be no more than 500 words.
For the Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia sessions, abstracts must be submitted in English and the language of the Special Session(s) - Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the conference scientific committee.
Accepted presenters will be invited to present their papers during the conference.
Selected papers may be considered for publication in conference proceedings or affiliated journals, subject to review and editorial policies.
